You'll assemble a functioning ticket vending machine on the platform, lay the black-and-white chequerboard floor of the station hall, brick up a working kitchen with a tiled floor and cooker hood, and furnish the café with individual coffee machines and barista counters. The transparent café door opens and closes on its hinges — a small detail that captures the tactile satisfaction that defines this hobby.

Finished, the Vintage Steam Train Station commands a shelf. At 38.5 × 25.6 × 26 cm in 1:50 scale, it sits with authority in any collection — urban street scene, architectural showcase or standalone centrepiece.
