U-boat fans can choose between three German submarines: the Panlos VIIC U-552 Submarine, the Gobricks U-Boat Type Viic Submarine and The World War II German U-boat U-96 by 12Go, all expert builds of 18 hours or more. Cold War enthusiasts can build the Panlos Akula Typhoon 941 Submarine at 1:45 or the Reobrix Military Los Angeles-Class SSN Submarine, an advanced 10-18h kit. For a quicker build, the Zhegao Type 092 Nuclear Submarine, the Type 9411 Nuclear Submarine and the Sluban Nuclear Submarine are easy 1:100 kits of 2 to 5 hours.
